>  SIMULSATS

Simulsat is the world's only true multibeam antenna that receives up to 35 satellite signals simultaneously. Simulsat has and continues to deliver programming to millions of cable TV viewers worldwide. Taking the space of about 3 parking spaces, Simulsat pays for itself in space, savings and insurance for future channels and programming changes. Available in 3 size and performance variations: Simulsat 5, Simulsat C/Ku and Simulsat 7, Simulsat is the only antenna you need.

The complete RF Transport System includes the Simulsat multibeam antenna - world’s only multiple satellite antenna that is capable of receiving satellite transmissions from 35+ satellites simultaneously, L-band fiberoptic links for transport into the headend, RF detection for LNB status, L-Band Matrix Switch to route and distribute signals to receivers, an embedded spectrum analyzer for monitoring each signal, proprietary M & C software that provides total monitoring capabilities of each individual signal path.  It reports the current health of each LNB, fiber transmitter, and fiber receiver as well as full matrix control.

Performs equivalent to 4.6 M. C-band Prime Focus Antennas.  3 Times Improved Surface Tolerance Performance over standard Simulsat 5.  Designed using state-of-the-art CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Tooling.

Most Frequently Installed Model Worldwide.  Standard and High Mount Available.  C and Ku-Band Capability. Performs equivalent to 4.5 M. C-Band Prime Focus Parabolic Antennas.  Receives, with uniform performance, signals from all satellites within a 70° view arc.  Requires Less Space – Takes up the same space as 3 parking spaces.

ATCi’s largest Simulsat model – geared toward large cable systems and teleports.  Standard and High Mount Available.  More arc coverage – receives, with uniform performance, signals from all satellites within a 75° view arc.  C and Ku-Band Capability.  Performs equivalent to 6 M. C-Band Prime Focus Parabolic Antennas.

ATCi's newly released Simulsat 4-Port is the most advanced feed design for the Simulsat line of multibeam antennas.  This innovative design is narrow to allow for maximum flexibility in optimizing feeds for satellites spaced at 2° longitude, with no compromise in performance.  The 4-Port Feed operates over the entire 'extended' C-band frequency range from 3.4 to 4.2 GHz, and also operates over the entire commercial Ku-band frequency range of 10.95 to 12.75 GHz.  The 4-Port Feed includes mounting rack and two (2) each of C and Ku-Band PLL LNB's.  The feed also accommodates bandpass filters to provide the utmost in secure operation.

Most Frequently asked Simulsat questions by customers and users.

Simulsat feeds are available in dual polarity C, Ku-band as well as 4-port C/Ku feed.  Feed assemblies are composed of quality machined parts allowing for precise adjustments in elevation, azimuth, focal length and polarity.

The Simulsat Feedpeaking Toolkit assists in the feed peaking, includes: feed peaking video, two spreader bars and three long handle ball drivers.

The Anti-Icing Reflector Heater grids are laminated into the fiberglass reflector panels and are an integral part of the antenna.  Fifty-four embedded resistance wire elements are positioned over the surface area and are connected in a parallel wiring (1 phase) or Delta wiring (3 phase) sequence.  Reflectors are supplied as either 1 phase or 3 phase units and are not interchangeable.

The Junction Box is a weather proof NEMA enclosure 24 inches W x 36 inches H and 12 inches D with a horizontal plate inside that is fitted with (40) F-81 barrel connectors.  The supplied RG-6 quad shield cables are routed from the antenna feedbox to the topside of the junction box plate.

The foundation kit consists of a template used to locate and hold the antenna anchor bolts during the foundation pad construction.  The foundation kit consists of templates, anchor bolts, aluminum braces and hardware.

The Simulsat Feedbox enables customers to view a larger portion of the satellite view arc.  This box is used to replace Simulsat feedboxes that came standard on early versions of the Simulsat-5 antenna.

The Simulsat Feedbox Bubble Cover replaces the standard flat feedbox covers and add approximately 10 inches to the vertical height.  These covers are used to accommodate the extra room required when filters are being utilized in the feed assemblies.

Replacement Kit for the Kydex cover that is used on the Simulsat antennas on the bottom side of the feedbox.  This material acts as a window for the signals being received on the antenna and helps seal the box from debris and other items.

The Simulsat Lightning Kit includes dissipater rods, clamps, and cable that extends to base grounding rod.

The Simulsat Beacon Warning Light Kit includes automatic flashing warning light installed on highest point of antenna.

ATCi is pleased to introduce the Motorized Version of ATCi’s 4 Port Feed originally designed for the Simulsat Multibeam Series of Antennas.  Now, the same quality and performance is availale for parabolic antennas.  The Motorized 4-Port Feed operates over the entire “extended” C-band frequency range from 3.4 to 4.2 GHz, and also operates over the entire commercial Ku-band frequency range of 10.95 to 12.75 GHz.  The feed accommodates bandpass filters to provide the utmost in secure operation.  There are no products on the market today that can match the performance and economy of the ATCi Motorized 4 Port Feed.

ATCi’s Simulsat 2-Port is the most advanced feed design for the Simulsat line of multibeam antennas.  This innovative design is narrow to allow for maximum flexibility in optimizing feeds for satellites spaced at 2° longitude, with no compromise in performance.  The 2-Port Feed operates over the entire “extended” C-band frequency range from 3.4 to 4.2 GHz. The 2-Port Feed includes mounting rack and two C-Band PLL LNB’s.  The feed also accommodates bandpass filters to provide the up most in secure operation.
