Top Multimedia Retailer Upgrades Legacy Simulsat 5 Antenna System
to New Simulsat 5B Antenna System
LAS VEGAS (April 8, 2014) - ATCi - Antenna Technology Communications Inc., a provider of satellite communications systems, today announced from the NAB Conference in Las Vegas that one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world has recently upgraded their current Simulsat 5 system to the new and improved Simulsat 5B system.
This retailer currently reaches more than 98 million U.S. households and approximately 195 million cable and satellite homes worldwide and is the first multimedia company to offer native high-definition service to its customers since May, 2009. They chose the Simulsat 5B upgrade because of their history with ATCi and the satellite reception capabilities of their current
ATCi provided and handled the complete installation of the Simulsat 5B Multibeam System to meet the company's unique requirements.
